St. Paul Dental Centre opened its doors in 1989, with a mission to provide the highest level of dental care for the community with a comfortable family focused atmosphere. We like to think of our patients as family, and over the years we’ve watched our patients grow up and start families of their own. All of our experienced staff are dedicated to making you feel at home when you visit our clinic, as we value you as much as we do our own families. I was born and raised in sunny Medicine Hat until I moved to Edmonton in 2004. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science, I moved to Cork, Ireland to drink Guinness, travel around Europe, and study dentistry at the University College Cork. I’ve lived in St Paul with my wife, Janine, since 2013 and we recently welcomed our first child, Mitchell, into the world. We enjoy travelling and being outdoors – whether on a trail or in the boat. I look forward to helping you meet you dental needs.
Dave grew up in South Edmonton and graduated from the dental faculty at the University of Alberta in 1989. That same year he married Amy and they moved to St Paul.
Dave and Amy have three children;
Mitchell is pursuing a career in law enforcment; Andrew is currently studying civil engineering in the co-op program at the University of Alberta and Alexandra is billeting in Lloydminster while playing elite hockey and hopes to pursue a career in nursing upon completion of grade 12.
The Thomson family enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle typically centered around watersports. The kids grew up actively involved in the sports of hockey and soccer.
Amy is currently employed as a pharmacist with Alberta Health Services at the St Therese Healthcare Centre.
The dental practice underwent a major renovation and expansion in the summer of 2016 and Dave and Chris and staff are enjoying practicing dentistry in the updated premises.
